Turbo
Sport Racing Watch Face
Turbo is a luxury sport watch face with a racing heart: a black sunburst dial in a knurled bezel, bevelled applied numerals, a matte redline from 1 to 3 o'clock, steel sword hands with lume and a lollipop seconds hand. Two car-instrument gauges are cut into the dial like the round instruments of a sports car: a chrome lip, a 0-10 scale with a red zone and a slim needle, with the reading below it. The digital time sits at the top between a label and a value, and the framed date with the week waits at 3 o'clock. Four colours in one purchase: Turbo Red, Ice Blue, Terminal Green and Mono Orange.

What you can change
Choose what each gauge shows
Battery, Body Battery, recovery time, steps, weekly running distance, calories, floors climbed, active minutes, stress, pulse ox or battery days left - every one moves its needle from empty to full.
The field at the top and the one over the date can show any of 19 metrics - also heart rate, weather, distance today, notifications, altitude, sunrise/sunset, respiration and air pressure.
Remove any metric
Set a field to "Empty" and it is gone - an empty gauge disappears from the dial.
Analog or digital, your choice (setting "Time display")
"Analog + digital", "Analog only" (the digital time is removed) or "Digital only" (the hands are removed).
All 4 colours included in one purchase
Turbo Red, Ice Blue, Terminal Green, Mono Orange - switch any time (setting "Colourway").
Hands on top or under the data, your choice (setting "Hands"): "Hands on top" sweeps the hour and minute hands over every number, like a mechanical watch; "Data on top" keeps every number readable through the hands.
12 or 24-hour time as your watch is set; a leading zero as the watch shows it, always (09:41) or never (9:41) (setting "Leading zero"); an AM/PM marker (setting "AM/PM marker").
Large numbers (setting "Number size")
Every gauge as its icon and a large value, no label - easy to read at a glance.
Always-on display like the face (its ring, hands and colours) or minimal, dim to bright; the full face on solar/MIP watches.
Change everything on the watch or in the Connect IQ app; every change shows at once.
20 metrics for every field.
Each of the 4 fields shows any of them, or nothing at all. Swap them any time on the watch or in the app.

Version 1.3.2
First released 7 Oct 2026. Updates are free and install by themselves.
- 1.3.11 Nov 2026
- Steps now count towards your own daily step goal from Garmin Connect (it was fixed at 10,000), so 7,500 steps of a 7,500 goal is 100%. Thanks for spotting it!
- 1.3.029 Oct 2026
- New always-on display that looks like the face: its ring, its hands and its own colours - and no digital time when you have switched it off. Brightness: dim, normal or bright (setting "Always-on brightness"); the old minimal screen is still there (setting "Always-on display").
- The setting "Gauge style" is now called "Number size" (Normal / Large) - easier to find.
- The numbers in the two small gauges and the field round the digital time are bigger - easier to read.
- 1.2.029 Oct 2026
- New setting "Gauge style": "Big numbers" shows just the icon and a large value in every gauge - much easier to read.
- The date now shows correctly in every watch language: letters such as Č, Ř, Ł or Ş appeared as an empty box; they now show as their plain letter, and other alphabets use the English abbreviation.
- 1.1.025 Oct 2026
- New setting "Hands": the hands on top of the data, or the data on top of the hands - your choice (thanks for the feedback!).
- New setting "Leading zero": the hour as the watch shows it, always with a zero (09:41) or never (9:41).
- New setting "AM/PM marker": shows AM or PM next to a 12-hour time.
- Bigger numbers and labels on the smaller watches (Forerunner 165, 170, 70 and 265S, vívoactive 5 and 6, Venu 3S and more): easier to read at a glance.
- 1.0.110 Oct 2026
- Now also on vívoactive 5, Venu 2/3/4 and epix (Gen 2, Pro).
- 1.0.07 Oct 2026
- First release: Sport Racing Watch Face.
Why do I see "--" for body Battery, recovery time and weekly running distance?
Body Battery, recovery time and weekly running distance are shown only when the watch provides them; otherwise "--".

On solar/MIP watches (64 colours) the dial is flat black and the colours are shown in the nearest palette colour.
How do I change a field or a colour?
On the watch: hold the middle-left (UP/MENU) button on the watch face, choose Watch face, then Customize. In the phone: open the Connect IQ app, go to My Device, Watch Faces, Turbo, then Settings. Every change shows at once.
Is it a subscription?
No. You buy it once in the Connect IQ store and keep every future update.
Does it drain the battery?
The face is built to be as frugal as a Garmin face: it redraws once a minute and the always-on screen is dimmed and minimal on AMOLED watches.
