Pulse puts your whole day around a big stacked time: white hours over sky-blue minutes, and the date with the day in the accent. Your steps with a bar chart of the week, your heart rate with a sparkline of the last hours, the weather with today's low and high, battery and Body Battery as ring gauges, stress as a half arc and sunrise and sunset. The outer ring of 60 dashes lights up with your steps and your battery. Colours that mean something: battery and Body Battery go from green to amber to red, stress from blue to red. Every field can show any of 20 metrics, or nothing.

Change every metric
Each of the seven fields can show any of 20 metrics - battery, Body Battery, recovery time, heart rate, steps, weekly running distance, weather, calories, floors climbed, active minutes, distance today, stress, notifications, altitude, sunrise/sunset, respiration, pulse ox, battery days left, air pressure, your next calendar event.
Remove any metric
Set a field to "Empty" and it is gone.
Outer ring
The seconds, your battery level, or off (setting "Outer ring").
Colour Studio
16 colour themes (Ice, Ocean, Royal, Lime, Emerald, Mint, Gold, Amber, Sunset, Crimson, Rose, Magenta, Violet, Lavender, Mono, Stealth) or your own colour for the time, accent, values, labels and ring, with swatches on the watch.

How do I change a field or a colour?
On the watch: hold the middle-left (UP/MENU) button on the watch face, choose Watch face, then Customize. In the phone: open the Connect IQ app, go to My Device, Watch Faces, Pulse, then Settings. Every change shows at once.
Is it a subscription?
No. You buy it once in the Connect IQ store and keep every future update.
Does it drain the battery?
The face is built to be as frugal as a Garmin face: it redraws once a minute and the always-on screen is dimmed and minimal on AMOLED watches.
