Nexus turns your watch into a head-up display: glass hexagon cells inside a compass ring with N, E, S and W. The weekday and date sit in the top cell, your heart rate with a sparkline of the last hours and the weather with today's low and high in the two upper cells, and a huge time in the middle. Four arc gauges fill the bottom cells - battery, steps, Body Battery and stress - each changing colour with its level. Every field can show any of 20 metrics, or nothing.

Change every metric
Each of the six fields can show any of 20 metrics - battery, Body Battery, recovery time, heart rate, steps, weekly running distance, weather, calories, floors climbed, active minutes, distance today, stress, notifications, altitude, sunrise/sunset, respiration, pulse ox, battery days left, air pressure, your next calendar event.
Remove any metric
Set a field to "Empty" and it is gone.

Colour Studio
16 colour themes (Ice, Ocean, Royal, Lime, Emerald, Mint, Gold, Amber, Sunset, Crimson, Rose, Magenta, Violet, Lavender, Mono, Stealth) re-colour the whole HUD - the glass frame, its glow and the compass ring - or pick your own colour for the time, accent, values, labels and ring.

How do I change a field or a colour?
On the watch: hold the middle-left (UP/MENU) button on the watch face, choose Watch face, then Customize. In the phone: open the Connect IQ app, go to My Device, Watch Faces, Nexus, then Settings. Every change shows at once.
Is it a subscription?
No. You buy it once in the Connect IQ store and keep every future update.
Does it drain the battery?
The face is built to be as frugal as a Garmin face: it redraws once a minute and the always-on screen is dimmed and minimal on AMOLED watches.
