An executive dial with four data subdials.
I made Boardroom for wearing to work. It is a dress watch first: a slim polished metal bezel with a minute track, faceted applied indices and a dark sunburst dial that catches the light, with faceted dauphine hands over it. The data is still all there - a big digital time with seconds, the weekday, date and week at the top, five metal-rimmed gauges and the weather - seven fields, each one any of 19 metrics. Four finishes in one purchase: Boardroom (yellow gold), Chancery (emerald and gold), Counsel (steel blue) and Meridian (rose gold). Analog, digital or both, 12 or 24-hour time.

What you can change

Change every metric
Each of the seven fields can show any of 19 metrics - battery, Body Battery, recovery time, heart rate, steps, weekly running distance, weather, calories, floors climbed, active minutes, distance today, stress, notifications, altitude, sunrise/sunset, respiration, pulse ox, battery days left, air pressure.
Remove any metric
Set a field to "Empty" and it is gone. Remove them all for a clean dial.
Analog or digital (setting "Time display")
"Analog + digital", "Analog only" or "Digital only".
Large numbers (setting "Number size")
Just the icon and a large value in every gauge, no labels - or the classic icon, label and value.
The date your way (setting "Date line")
Day, date and week (FRI 02 W40); day and date (FRI 02); day, date and month (FRI 02 OCT); or off - or the classic way: just the date (02) in a window at 3, nothing at the top. The frame round the date line can be switched off (setting "Date frame").

- New always-on display that looks like the face: its ring, its hands and its own colours - and no digital time when you have switched it off. Brightness: dim, normal or bright (setting "Always-on brightness"); the old minimal screen is still there (setting "Always-on display").

- A slimmer gold bezel: the dial, the gauges, the time and the hands are all larger and use more of the screen (thanks for the feedback!).
- New setting "Gauge style": "Big numbers" shows just the icon and a large value in every gauge.
- New setting "Date line": day, date and week; day and date; day, date and month; or off. The date window fits its text.
- The date now shows correctly in every watch language: letters such as Č, Ř, Ł or Ş appeared as an empty box; they now show as their plain letter, and other alphabets use the English abbreviation.

How do I change a field or a colour?
On the watch: hold the middle-left (UP/MENU) button on the watch face, choose Watch face, then Customize. In the phone: open the Connect IQ app, go to My Device, Watch Faces, Boardroom, then Settings. Every change shows at once.
Is it a subscription?
No. You buy it once in the Connect IQ store and keep every future update.
Does it drain the battery?
The face is built to be as frugal as a Garmin face: it redraws once a minute and the always-on screen is dimmed and minimal on AMOLED watches.
